Educational Alliance Art Gallery (Ernest Rubenstein Gallery) provides cultural enrichment to the members of the Educational Alliance and community of the Lower East Side by present group exhibits of established and emerging artists and solo exhibits of distinguished alumni of the Art School. The gallery also presents faculty and student exhibits. The following artists have participated in exhibits: Polly Apefelbaum, Lynda Benglis, Cora Cohen, Billy Copley, Lucky DeBellevue, Michiko Itatani, Yvonne Jacquette, Glen Ligion, Patricia Melvin, Shari Mendelson, Carrie Moyer, Tom Otterness, Shelia Pepe, Judy Pfaff, Betye Saar, Susan Shaw, Jessica Stockholder, Kiki Smith, Stephen Westfall, CD Wright. Recent solo exhibits of distinguished alumni include: Bernarda Bryon Shahn, Peter Gourfain, Nathan Hilu, Louise Nevelson, and Elias Newman.
